Jenna Fischer's most famous role was that of Pam Beesly from the popular TV show The Office. In recognition of her performance, she won the Emmy award for Best Actress in the Supporting Role. In addition, she won two SAG Awards.
Jenna was born and raised within St. Louis Missouri. Jenna's mother Anne was a performer in church dramas when she was younger, and this instilled an passion for theater.
After finishing The Office, Fischer, who is a trained actress in the theater, went back to her origins. She played Josh Hamilton in Neil LaBute's Off-Broadway drama Reasons to be Happy. The play was followed by her participation at the premiere world-wide of Steve Martin's latest play Meteor Shower, an absurdist comedy opposite Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg, for a record-breaking run at The Old Globe Theatre.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's most trusted friend on the real world and Fischer began her own podcast, the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf at the end of October 2019. The podcast quickly was a hit. Every week, it was within the Top Ten in global downloads which topped 200 million in just its initial two years. Office Ladies took home the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
She is the author of two books. The Actor's Life and a Survival Guide In it, she describes her journey to St. Louis to Hollywood in order to be a professional actress, and the forthcoming Office BFF's: Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends who were there (co-authored with Angela Kinsey) This book provides the story of their greatest relationship and their time for The Office.
