Felicity Jones is a native of Britain and is best known as the actress who appeared as Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones began acting at the age of 12 and has worked in multiple productions and TV shows. She started her career with the television film The Treasure Seekers. The following year, she appeared in The Worst Witch as Ethel Hallow and in Weirdsisters College. Her debut film, Flashbacks of a Fool included her in the role of Young Ruth. Since then she has appeared in many films. In films such as The Invisible Woman or The Amazing Spider-Man 2, she gained acclaim for her acting. Her role as the wife of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything earned her an Oscar nomination in the very first time. Jones in her role as Stephen Hawking's wife in the biopic based on his life, was praised both by critics and viewers. Jones was later seen in Inferno an action film starring Tom Hanks. It was the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles presented Jones with the British Artist of the Year in the year 2016 because of her outstanding talents and contributions to the film.
