Melina Kanakaredes is an American actress is known for her roles as Doctor. Sydney Hansen in the NBC drama Providence and Dr. Lane Hunter in The Resident. The actress also won acclaim for her dramatic television debut of Eleni Andros Cooper on the CBS soap drama Guiding Light. She was also a part of 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. According according to reports, she's working with Vlas & Charley Parlapanides who created Immortals for an adaptation of Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography The Wheel of Life. The actress is also working on a new TV show titled Gods & Heroes.
