Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp has been a Canadian actor for a long time. The actress is famous for her roles in film and television. Her work is well-known on both Canadian as well as American Television. Emily began acting at the age of 12 after visiting her older sister Katie in one of Katie's films. Once she discovered her passion for the acting world she enrolled herself in acting classes and started to audition. After a few successful commercials she was quickly booked in the Canadian kids' horror TV series Are You afraid of Dark? The only thing she could get was one with no sound. Her first break came at 15 years old when she was cast in the show on WB's Glory Days as a regular. Emily's performance caught the eye of Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then made her a part of his television show Everwood. Emily was a professional ballet dancer who began to take up photography as well. Teen listed her as the top young actress. She was ranked number 51 in the Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
